Robert Falcon Scott was born in Devon, England in 1868. He was like Chris because he was born and raised in a well off family. His father owned a brewery in Plymouth and Robert married Hannah Cuming, whose father was part of the Chamber of Commerce and many other political positions, so they had a high reputation and was well respected. Something else they have in common is that they were both "dreamy." Robert sailed the seas in the navy and he soon became a commander who led a group of explorers to try to be the first people to reach the North Pole. They got to the North Pole but another expedition from Norway arrived there first. On the way back to their homeland, Robert and his crew died from severe frostbite and starvation.
